I am contacting the Attorney Generals office in my state to file a formal complaint.1 First month free offer valid only when you choose the monthly billing option on your purchase of a new annual Appliances, Built-in Systems or Complete Home Plan. I got up the next day and called again, this time I waited 2 hours for a customer service representative from South America to tell me that I had to pay to have another service provider give an estimate of repair and that the refrigerator would not be replaced I had to keep looking for a service provider to fix it, which is definitely a breach of my home warranty contract! Thank God my father had a refrigerator in his garage that we are using. I was called 8 hours later at 3:30 in the Am so needless to say, I missed the call which was was convenient for them. They have offered to settle my claim for the $75 service fee and I have heard nothing concerning replacing my refrigerator I called customer service and opted for a call back. I paid them the deductible of $75 for the initial claim and then was made to pay another $75 to the service provider before they would reimburse me and are only reimbursing me for one of the $75 for doing the work they promised to do! My service provider sent in an estimate stating that the refrigerator could not be repaired and needed to be replaced which also stated the reason why. They could not find a service provider and so they provided the alternative method (which is not in my contract) to find my own service provider. This is a nightmare! My refrigerator stopped 8 weeks ago. I hope (unless Cinch finds another way to keep my money). I am canceling my Cinch contract today - and getting back 5 months of pro-rated amount. Cinch reimburses $10 (that's right, 10 bucks).

(They still kept the $160 even tho they did nothing to help). Repair total that I had to pay out of pocket cost $550. So I did all the legwork to find someone. Still they collected $160 and "allowed" me to find my provider. Through Cinch - I had to pay them $160 and wait 2 weeks for one of their in-network guys (rude, late) to come fix it 5) For my HVAC repair - they could find NO ONE. My own repairman said he could do it same day for $150. Also - blaming Covid, they have gone up from the contract-specified $150 to $160) 4) I got my Washer fixed. 3) They charge $160 up front (this is NOT a deductible so you won't get anything back if the service performed costs less than that. And they CANNOT help you with any issue resolution. Rude, incompetent, and take forever to do anything, 2) Calling Cinch to discuss anything requires you to set aside 2+ hours if you want to speak to a human being. 1) ALL their "in-network" providers are F-rated or 1-star rated. They are the WORST company I have given money to. Cinch home warranty is awful, do not waste your money and do not trust them at all. I have never been so frustrated with a company. Sears says that if I argue with Cinch it will still probably take 6 more months. I am now in the middle of summer in 90 degree weather, with no AC for 2 months.

I don’t even know how to get any help from them. I have not been able to contact anyone or gotten any information. One woman answered, said that she’d check my account, and then hung up. Well, I tried to do that, I have called 5 different numbers and sat on hold for over 3 hours. The Sears employee (who was very rude and unhelpful) said that I needed to call and fight with Cinch. They both say that I need a new AC unit but refuse to do anything about it. Sears comes again and says “the filter is dirty” even though I replaced it two weeks before. Then I have to schedule another service, which took 3 weeks to get. Then Sears comes to “fix” it and they say the filter is dirty so they can’t even look at anything else.
I scheduled a service online and they couldn’t come until 2 weeks later. I have had nothing but issues with Cinch.
